Description

Oreo Polar Bear Paws are a fun and festive treat featuring Oreos dipped in smooth white chocolate, decorated with Junior Mints and mini brown M&Ms to resemble polar bear paws. Perfect for parties or holiday gatherings, these no-bake cookies combine creamy sweetness with a playful design that kids and adults will enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 20 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 13.9-ounce package Oreos
  • 1 box Junior Mints
  • 100 mini brown M&Ms from 1 family size package
  • Sanding sugar, as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare workspace: Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper to place the dipped Oreos on for setting.
  2. Melt chocolate: Place white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30 second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  3. Dip Oreos: Drop one Oreo into the melted chocolate and use a fork to flip it over and coat all sides evenly. Lift it out and shake off excess chocolate, scraping the bottom on the bowl edge to prevent pooling.
  4. Decorate: Place the chocolate-covered Oreo on the parchment paper. Press one Junior Mint into the bottom center of the Oreo to represent the paw pad. Arrange four mini brown M&Ms surrounding the top as the toes. Generously sprinkle with sanding sugar to add sparkle. Repeat with remaining Oreos, working in batches of five.
  5. Set chocolate: Transfer the decorated Oreos to the freezer for 5-10 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set and harden.
  6. Store: Keep the finished treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. While they freeze well, the M&Ms may lose color after thawing.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  • Freezing is not recommended as the M&Ms may lose their color upon thawing.
  • Work in small batches (about 5 Oreos at a time) for easier dipping and decorating.
  • Use sanding sugar generously to add sparkle and texture to the paws.
  • For smoother melting, ensure white chocolate wafers are stirred thoroughly between microwave increments to avoid burning.
